A three storey contemporary family home, inspired by a modernist approach with a twist on the traditional beach side vernacular materials utilising weatherboard cladding, louvre screens and a box shape rectangular facade composition. A focused performance based approach was taken to resolve the design program against the harsh environmental context of the elements, extreme sun and high level wind exposure.
