Mosman Park, Western Australia
The shell of the school theatre building was designed by us in 2002 with the limited funds available at the time. The new brief (nearly ten years later) entailed the regeneration of the existing performing arts theatre to create a dynamic setting befitting of a contemporary, functional theatrical environment. The design of new fixed seating arranged in tiered radial formats permit faultless unobscured sightlines to and from the stage. Together with the implementation of updated stage drapery / equipment systems and the design of acoustical elements results in a state of the art theatre that can be tailored to suit any type of performance.
